Scottsville man charged with drug possession after traffic stop

ADOLPHUS, Ky. – A man is facing multiple charges following a traffic stop in Allen County.

According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop Wednesday on a vehicle in the Adolphus community.

The driver was identified as Mathew Dagen, 30, of Scottsville.

Through investigation, deputies say they discovered Dagen possessed narcotics.

Dagen was arrested and transported to the Allen County Detention Center.

He is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia – buy/possess, license to be in possession and failure to wear seatbelts.
