Scottsville man arrested in connection with stolen vehicle

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Scottsville man is facing charges related to a stolen vehicle.

According to the Scottsville Police Department, officers responded to a report Monday regarding a stolen vehicle from the Scottsville area.

Police say around 8 a.m., the stolen vehicle was found using flock cameras in Scottsville.

Officers say they found the vehicle being driven by 27-year-old Delbert Birge of Scottsville.

Birge additionally had an active warrant for arrest for domestic assault, police say.

Birge was charged with the warrant, along with receiving stolen property between $1,000 and $10,000, operating on a suspended license, theft by unlawful taking or disposition auto between $1,000 and $10,000, second-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief.
