Scottsville man arrested after crashing into a fence
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Scottsville man is facing charges after allegedly crashing his vehicle into a fence in Bowling Green.
The Bowling Green Police Department responded to a call at 1473 Kentucky Street for a single-vehicle collision.
Police say they made contact with Daniel Walker, 20 of Scottsville, at the scene.
Officers say Walker was traveling at a high rate of speed, lost control of his vehicle, and crashed into a fence.
According to a citation, Walker said he was not drinking. Police say Walker had a strong odor of alcohol.
Following a field sobriety test, police say Walker was taken into custody and transported to a hospital for medical clearance.
The estimated price of the fence is $500.
Walker is charged with criminal mischief 1st degree and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol under 21.
Walker is lodged at the Warren County Regional Jail.
