Scottsville man allegedly supplies meth, other illegal substances to minors

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Scottsville man faces a slew of drug-related charges.

The Scottsville Police Department says it executed a search warrant Sunday at the residence of Jeffery C. Stinson, 59, at 337 SE 2nd Street.

The department says it was conducting an investigation of illegal drug activities at the residence.

Officers arrested Stinson and say he told them he was supplying methamphetamine and other illegal substances to minors.

During the search, officers say they located suspected paraphernalia used to traffic illegal narcotics.

The investigation is ongoing.

Stinson is lodged at the Allen County and is charged with unlawful transaction w/minor, 1st – ill cont sub, u/18 yoa, traff in cont sub, 1st degree, 1st off – (< 2 gms methamphetamine), poss cont sub 1st deg, 1st off (methamphetamine), poss cont sub, 3rd degree – drug unspecified, prescription cont sub not proper contain 1st off, drug paraphernalia – buy/possess.
