SCK Launch Job Fair at Warren East High School

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – To both benefit the youth and stimulate the local job market, the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce brought over 23 companies to the auxiliary gym of Warren East High School, inviting Warren County Public School seniors to hopefully get them hired.

News 40 spoke with Meredith Rozanski with the chamber who said this year is their sixth year throwing the job fair and it’s a benefit for everyone.

Kimber Doyle, a senior in Warren County said to News 40 in an interview that she’s looking toward healthcare and the fair is a great way to see what’s out there and get some interview experience.

Matt Massey with M & L Electric said they like to hire young candidates. Massey said not only is it beneficial to the company to train a blank slate, they also get to see people grow up through the business, which is fulfilling in itself.
