Schools roll out graduation plans
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.-May is a big month for high school seniors and with the pandemic school districts have gotten creative when it comes to keeping that big moment special.
Schools in the WNKY viewing area like Barren County High School, Bowling Green High School, Glasgow High School and Edmonson County High School have unveiled their plans for graduation.
Staff from Barren County High School released a video of future plans. BCHS will hold a personalized drive through graduation on May 30 and 31. A Barren County traditional graduation is planned on Dec. 13. The school is planning various commemoration activities until then.
At Edmonson County High School, the plan is to have a virtual commemoration at 7 p.m. May 22, with an in person graduation being held on Sept. 26.
All of the plans involving in person gatherings are tentative depending on how the pandemic situation is looking by then.
Staring Sunday, Bowling Green High School will be holding a graduation week. The week will begin with in-person individual ceremonies, which will be scheduled Sunday through Wednesday.
