School districts highlight counselors for National School Counselor Week

GLASGOW, Ky.- The whole week of Feb. 1-5, a certain school profession is being highlighted and celebrated.

Districts like the Barren County School District have been taking over social media highlighting school counselors and their services provided to the students.

School counselors say seeing the students flourish and succeed is the driving force of why they do what they do. This year especially, counselors are appreciative of every chance they get to help students in person, as many are learning through a hybrid learning model.

Earlier this week, the National School Counseling Week proclamation was signed at Bowling Green City Hall.
