Schlosser to enter Jostens Renaissance Hall of Fame
FRANKLIN, Ky. – A Simpson County educator is being recognized nationally for his commitment to education.
On Thursday, Simpson County Schools superintendent Tim Schlosser was announced as a 2024 Jostens Renaissance Hall of Fame inductee.
Schlosser was surprised with his induction announcement at a ceremony at Franklin-Simpson High School.
The Hall of Fame honors educators who show exceptional leadership skills, with a focus on creating a positive climate and culture through academic improvements. The honor recipients are also determined by the measure of impact they have had on the Jostens Renaissance Education program at the state, national, and international levels.
“Jostens is honored to welcome Tim Schlosser into the Jostens Renaissance Hall of Fame,” said Mike Wolf, Vice President of School Culture and Events. “This award is designed to recognize the passion and dedication of educators who are a driving force in impacting students’ academic performance and character. Tim has certainly demonstrated that throughout his career and especially at Franklin-Simpson High School over the past 13 years. We will be honored to celebrate his accomplishments at JRGC.”
Emmi Knight, Student Council President at Franklin-Simpson High School, wrote in support of his nomination: “My older siblings both had the privilege to have Mr. Schlosser as their high school principal and he most certainly helped shape their love of our school. Because of the community that he developed, both of my siblings have returned to Simpson County Schools as teachers and use the same principles that Mr. Schlosser displayed in their own classrooms and professional careers. I too hope to teach in Simpson County one day and help contribute to my school’s culture and climate.”
Fellow Hall of Fame member Samantha Grimes of Greenbrier High School wrote, “In addition to his exceptional leadership performance, Tim consistently goes above and beyond to foster a positive and inclusive school culture. He actively participates in various Jostens Renaissance activities and initiatives aimed at promoting student engagement, personal growth, and community involvement.”
Schlosser will be honored at the 31st annual Jostens Renaissance Global Conference (JRGC) in Orlando, Florida from July 15–18, 2024.
