Scare on the Square set to feature flash mob to iconic Halloween song
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A fall favorite is happening on Saturday, but organizers are working to add a little bit of a twist that may thrill you.
Scare on the Square is happening on October 28 in downtown Bowling Green.
The day will feature a kids costume contest, local businesses passing out candy, a movie at the SOKY Marketplace and a performance at the Capitol Theatre.
A thrilling new addition is a flash mob, of course performing to Michael Jackson’s classic song “Thriller.”
The dancing starts at 6 on Saturday. However, if you’d like to practice your scary good dance moves beforehand, there’s a way to do that.
“The flash mob dance is going to be Thriller. It’s going to be at the end of Scare on the Square… there’s gonna be a practice over here at One Roof where they’re going to be practicing their Michael Jackson… come out here, practice your Thriller, because it’s a Thriller.”
The rehearsal will take place from 3 to 5 Thursday at One Roof on Fountain Square.
