Safe at Home program sees 460% increase within a year

FRANKFORT, Ky. – New numbers are out for Kentucky’s Safe at Home program from the office of Secretary of State Michael Adams.
Participating in Kentucky’s Safe at Home program has increased by 460% in the first year since the General Assembly expanded the program at Adams’ request.
The Kentucky Safe at Home program is an address confidentiality program that helps survivors of certain crimes, including sexual assault, domestic violence, trafficking and stalking.
It helps to hide the address on public records, including voter rolls.
