Russellville woman injured in crash, flown to Nashville

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – A vehicle accident on Russellville Road in Christian County has left a Russellville woman hospitalized.

According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle driven by Kadence Brown, of Russellville, was driving northbound on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

Police say Brown failed to stop at the intersection of Russellville Road.

The vehicle traveled through the intersection and down into a cornfield.

Brown sustained a severe cut to her head.

Brown was transported from the scene by Hopkinsville EMS. Brown was then flown to a Nashville hospital for treatment.

Deputies were assisted by the Highland Fire Department and Hopkinsville EMS.
