Russellville police detain 2 juveniles following robbery

RUSSEVILLE, Ky. – Police say two juveniles are facing charges in connection with a robbery.

The Russellville Police Department says it investigated a robbery in the parking lot of Hampton Park around 4:39 p.m. Saturday.

Police say the victim told them he was held at gunpoint by two male juveniles while sitting in his vehicle.

Through investigation, officers say they learned the juveniles had ridden in the vehicle with the victim before the robbery.

Both juveniles were later found and detained. They both are charged with first-degree robbery.

The investigation is ongoing.
