Russellville man arrested after authorities find nearly six ounces of methamphetamine
A Russellville man is behind bars after authorities say they seized nearly six ounces of methamphetamine from his vehicle.
According to the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force, around, agents conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Christopher Abney, 46, for failure to use a turn signal.
Agents say Abney gave consent for a vehicle search where approximately 5.8 ounces or 165.7 grams of methamphetamine was found inside a duffle bag, along with a digital scale.
Abney is charged with both possession and trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and various traffic offenses.
He was lodged in the Logan County Detention Center.
