Russellville Independent Schools is upgrading facilities
RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – Panther’s football will have a fresh feel to their stadium next season now that a new retaining wall at the back of the stadium is being completed.
This coincides with a variety of upgrades to facilities across the independent school district. Another notable upgrade is the facelift to the front of Russellville High School. The building is set to get a new façade and a set of new awnings that will modernize and beautify the facility for current and future students.
Superintendent Kyle Estes says that students already approve of the upgrades.
“It’s important that our kids, our students know that we care about not only them physically and mentally, but we care about the situation that they’re going to live in. And, you know, students live in our schools, and we want them to be proud of those schools,” Estes said.
Further upgrades include the addition of a new bathroom at an elementary school and another bathroom at the high school.
The façade construction is set to begin after school lets out in the summer.
