Russellville High School staff prepares health safety checkpoints for students
RUSSELLVILLE Ky.-Wednesday was opening day for Russellville High School, but not for students.
Instead it was opening day for the staff of the school, as everyone prepared for what will be a very different school year.
The faculty and staff met to set procedures for safety checkpoints, including temperature and symptom screenings for anyone entering the building. Sanitation stations are also set up throughout the area.
The team also discussed how instruction will look through the school year. Principal Ben Bruni said the situation is a bit nerve-wracking, but he knows he has the team to pull through.
As of now, Aug. 26 is the first day of classes for Russellville city students, starting with digital distance learning.
