Russellville EPB raising awareness of phone scam targeting customers

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – Attention to any Electrical Plant Board of Russellville customers.

The utility company says a scam phone call is targeting those who use their service and asking them to pay over the phone.

The company says that even if the number calling you looks like theirs or matches it identically, it still may not be them.

If you have reason to believe that a phone call is not originating from EPB, they ask that you hang up immediately and give them a call at 270-726-2466.

You can also go into their office and report the call. They’re open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
