Russell County man arrested on child solicitation charges

RUSSELL SPRINGS, Ky.- Kentucky State Police Post 15 Troopers have arrested a Russell County man on a charge relating to the sexual solicitation of a minor.

On December 26, 2024, a KSP Trooper got a complaint alleging 33-year-old Zachary Grider, of Russell Springs, was sending messages to a 15-year-old juvenile through the popular social media platform Snapchat. Troopers say some of those messages contain sexual references.

On December 28, 2024, a preliminary investigation got information that led troopers to arrest and charge Zachary Grider with Procuring or Promoting the Use of a Minor by Electronic Means.

Grider was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center. The investigation continues and is being led by Trooper Blaine Sharp.
