BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Farmers Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation Board of Directors said goodbye to one of its members, as Ronnie Smith has retired after 17 years of service.

Smith held many positions at RECC in his time there, as he served two terms as the Farmers RECC representative on the Kentucky Electric Cooperatives Board of Directors, spent two more terms as the chairman of the Farmers RECC Board of Directors and held positions of treasurer and vice chairman of the Farmers RECC board as well.

RECC said Smith has left a meaningful and lasting impact on the organization, and his contributions are a valuable part of its legacy.
