Rollout delayed for new driver’s licenses in Warren County

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Warren County residents will have to wait a little longer to get one of the Commonwealth’s new driver’s licenses.

According to Warren County Circuit Court Clerk, Brandi Duvall, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has changed the rollout date.

While no specific date has been given, Franklin and Woodford counties will be the first to receive the new driver’s licenses in early April and then county by county in May and June.

Warren County was supposed to receive the new licenses later this month.

Kentucky drivers can choose between two options. One is a standard driver’s license and the other is a voluntary travel ID that complies with new federal travel rules.
