Road improvements to begin on Gold City Road

FRANKLIN, Ky. – A project to rehabilitate and resurface a section Ky. 585 Gold City Road in Simpson County near mile point 1 is expected to begin next week.

Crews are expected to start with base failure repairs on Monday and resurface once those repairs are made.

Motorists should expect lane closures and traffic delays in the area. This project is weather dependent so the construction could change.
