UPDATE: Road blocked due to fatal crash in Hart County

HART COUNTY, Ky. – First responders are at the scene of a fatal crash in Hart County.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the road is blocked on Kentucky 88 just east of U.S. 31-W due to the crash.

Trooper Katan Parker, public affairs officer with the Kentucky State Police, says there is one confirmed fatality from a two-vehicle collision.

The road may be blocked for several hours.

Drivers should use an alternate route between 31-W and 31-E.
