Rivendell Behavioral Health cuts ribbon on new expansion
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Rivendell Behavioral Health cut the ribbon on a new 24-bed wing that will help expand their services.
The new addition will house adult patients that need psychiatric and substance use services, as well as expanding their adolescent service programs.
They’re now at 149 beds throughout the hospital to help meet the growing mental health needs of the community, which they say is important.
“We believe our mission is to provide help for the people in our community. There is a definite need for mental health and for adult services, and so this is what the 24 beds will allow us to do is to provide those services for adults,” CEO Jeremy Wagoner says.
The wing is dedicated to the memory of former Rivendell CFO Tim Gore, who passed away earlier this year.
Tim was a huge advocate for mental health and was a huge reason this project even exists.
