Richardsville Fire Department responds to Beech Bend for report related to ride

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Richardsville Fire Department stated Sunday on X that it responded for a report of five people stuck on a ride at Beech Bend Amusement Park.

Richardsville Fire Department chief Brian Lee says when units arrived, all riders were off of the ride.

Currently responding to a TSNV – TRAPPED SUBJECT NON-VEHICLE call. Report of 5 individuals stuck on an amusement ride at Beech Bend Park.

Lee says the fire department made contact with the owner and was advised the ride was never stuck, it only had an issue with the seat restraints releasing.

Park maintenance reportedly took care of the issue, allowing all riders to exit the ride prior to units’ arrival.
