Ribbon cutting held to celebrate completion of Phase 1 for new Bowling Green High School
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A project for a new school building in the works for a long time hit a major milestone Wednesday.
A ribbon cutting took place inside the new Bowling Green High School Wednesday morning, celebrating the completion of the project’s first phase.
Phase 1 makes up 80% of the entire project, and students will be welcomed back in person Aug. 24.
After the ribbon cutting, Bowling Green High School principal Kyle McGraw took everyone on a tour of the new building.
City, county and state officials including Bowling Green Mayor Bruce Wilkerson, Judge Executive Mike Buchanon and State Rep. Patti Minter were in attendance.
