Rho Lansden celebrates retirement from Lost River Cave
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A local icon associated with Lost River Cave is retiring after years of service to her community.
Rho Lansden is stepping away from Lost River Cave after being the CEO since 1999.
She was honored at the cave Wednesday for her nearly 25 years of serving at the helm of Lost River Cave.
One of the key announcements is the Rho Lansden Riverwalk, which helps immortalize her name at the cave forever.
In her retirement, Rho says she believes the right people are taking over the reigns of Lost River Cave, and can’t wait to see what the future looks like.
“This is the perfect time and I couldn’t be happier… for the future. I’m very excited to see when they put their stamp on it… what Lost River will be in the coming years,” she says.
Rho also says she’s happy to spend time with her grandkids, and can’t wait for them to grow up and come back to Lost River to explore a place she holds so dear.
