Restaurant delivery services give diners their favorites tastes during dining room shutdown

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -Now that Governor Beshear has ordered restaurants to close their dining rooms, that has meant crowded drive-thrus around the area.

But, even if you have a taste for something that’s not traditionally available for delivery, delivery companies are helping bring those tastes to your home.

Takeout Waiter’s Tina Boling says it’s a way to avoid crowds and get your restaurant fix, although she says their drivers have altered their routines to include stepped-up sanitation procedures.

Boling also said she is trying to hire restaurant workers who have been displaced by the closure of restaurant dining rooms.
