Renshaw Early Childhood Center wins national award
BOWLING GREEN, Ky – The Renshaw Early Childhood Center recently won a national award from the American Council on Rural Special Education for exemplary special education programs for infants and early education.
Also known as the Big Red School, they help teach neuro-divergent children aged 15 months to kindergarten. They were recognized for their unique and innovative approach to early childhood development.
The Big Red School also offers an opportunity for students on the campus of Western Kentucky University to help teach these children, and then when they graduate, they can bring their skills to the communities that they serve.
