Reminder: Call 811 before digging this season

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – The Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation made a statement on the importance of calling 811 before digging, planting or building at any depth.

811 is a national hotline used to discuss excavation work before it begins. Warren RECC reminds local residents to call before you dig.

Workers will come out to the specific location to place flags or markings to indicate how deep or wide the site is safe to rework.

Hitting underground utilities, cave-ins, falls and other potential hazards can be avoided by calling 811.
