Relive the Roaring ’20s: Ride the EEA’s original Ford Tri-Motor “Tin Goose”

Fly back in time @ BG-WC Airport

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – You can fly back in time this weekend and experience the Roaring ’20s with a ride on the EEA’s Ford Tri-Motor.

This luxurious flight, built nearly a century ago, will take you 1,100 feet above the ground from the Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport.

This ‘Tin Goose’ has been beautifully restored from its original 1928 model, and was the first commercial airline people could board.

As the first luxury airliner, the Ford Tri-Motor redefined world travel and marked the beginning of the commercial flight.

“It’s a 1928 airplane and this is 2023. So, it’s something that my great-grandfather would have flown,” said Tri-Motor pilot Ed Kornfield. “People are happy. They’re smiling when they come on and they smile even bigger smiles when they leave.”

You can purchase tickets online or come in person on a first-come, first-serve basis. Flights are available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday through Sunday.
