Rehabilitation Awareness Week: Highlighting SKY Rehabilitation Hospital

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital is highlighting its wide range of services and dedicated staff during National Rehabilitation Awareness Week.

The facility offers a comprehensive team including therapists, case managers and environmental services, all committed to helping patients regain independence.

CEO Sherri Goldsmith says the hospital serves individuals facing various life events, from chronic illness to trauma.

“In that process of rehab, that’s a journey,” Goldsmith said. “They come to us as they’re trying to find their way back to a new baseline.” Sky Rehab’s success stories extend beyond Bowling Green, attracting patients from across the region. “We are the only inpatient rehabilitation center in south central Kentucky,” Goldsmith added.

The hospital also serves patients from larger cities, like Louisville and Nashville, who want to recover closer to home.
