Reh named Warren County Water District scholarship recipient

BOWLING GREEN, KY – The Warren County Water District continues to promote education in the water supply field by offering a scholarship each year. Hshaw Reh of Warren Central High School was awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Western Kentucky University for the 2020-2021 academic year.
“Hshaw has overcome his fair share of obstacles, which have only helped him to further appreciate the Warren County community. He demonstrates a giving spirit by participating in various volunteer efforts in the community, and successfully completed eleven honor classes with a strong focus on academic achievements. We are excited to offer assistance as he furthers his higher education by pursuing a degree in engineering at WKU,” said WCWD General Manager John Dix. “This scholarship is another way we can serve our community and our customers.”
In an effort to foster success of future water and wastewater utility professionals, the scholarship is offered to assist a Warren County high school senior pursuing further education in a related field. The scholarship is renewable for four years, as long as requirements are maintained.
