Registration open for Med Center Health’s 10K Classic
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Med Center Health has opened registration for its 46th 10K Classic.
According to Med Center Health, the 10K Classic will have a brand new route this year, starting at Bowling Green Ballpark and continuing onward to highlight the City of Bowling Green.
Participants of all ages and fitness levels are invited to lace up on Saturday, Sept. 20.
Organizers say thousands of walkers, runners and cheering fans will be there for the 10K, the inclusive 5K run/walk, wheelchair race and beloved Children’s Classic.

“The 10K is a community event that has been around for many years,” said Sarah Widener, director of community wellness. “If someone is seeking motivation to start exercising regularly, training for the race is a great place to start with a goal in mind. The 10K can be a new tradition that someone looks forward to annually. We know there are a lot of people that enjoy walking but not running. We encourage walkers to sign up for our 5K or 10K depending on their fitness level. We also have a wheelchair race for men and women. If you aren’t able to participate in one of the races, we have volunteer opportunities as well.”
