RASK wants applicants for housing relief funding

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Realtor Association of Southern Kentucky, or RASK, is handing out housing relief funding, from the REALTORS® Relief Foundation, for people affected by the tornadoes – and they want you to apply.

Friday afternoon, RASK handed out checks to four local families who’ve struggled with mortgage payments due to the tornadoes.

This is money that the REALTORS® and REALTOR® Associations across the nation donate to the Foundation in case of a disaster. The Kentucky REALTORS® applied to the National Association of REALTORS® and the REALTOR® Relief Foundation to secure a $1.5 million grant to help out Kentucky families who were displaced after the storms.

70 households in the Bowling Green area have already applied for this help. RASK and the Kentucky REALTORS® wants anyone else in need to apply as well.

You can contact RASK to apply, or go to kyrealtors.com/relief to get more information and an application. If you know anyone displaced, please encourage them to apply.
