Rally of Neighborhoods helps community voice concerns to Public Works

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A group of neighbors gathered at Neighborhood and Community Services to learn a little more about what BG Public Works does for the community.

The Spring Rally of Neighborhoods gave citizens a chance to hear from Public Works director Andy Souza and Operations Manager Ryan Johnson as well as voice their concerns about any issues in their neighborhoods.

One of the main issues raised was drivers speeding on neighborhood streets, which the Public Works department says they plan to address by putting speed trackers in those neighborhoods to make sure drivers slow down.

Souza also discussed the different compartments of Public Works and what they do for the community, and took questions.
