Pursuit of stolen vehicle in Hart County leads to arrest

MUNFORDVILLE, Ky.- A man accused of driving a stolen vehicle was arrested after a pursuit in Hart County on Monday.

According to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Eudora Road, near Horse Cave. Authorities said the vehicle was reported stolen out of Nashville, Tenn.

Authorities said the driver refused to stop and a pursuit was initiated. The pursuit ended on Doran Drive in Cave City. No one was injured.

Deputies arrested Mathew Lashley, 28. Lashley was charged with multiple crimes, including three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, theft of a motor vehicle and reckless driving.

Lashley is lodged in the Hart County Jail.
