Public meeting to review Butler County judicial center project

FRANKFORT, Ky. – A public meeting is reviewing the decision to move forward with a judicial center project for Butler County.
The Court Facilities Standards Committee will meet Tuesday, June 11 to move forward with the project, according to a release by the Administrative Office of Courts.
The release states Butler County judge-executive and PDB chair Tim Flener will present on site selection and land procurement to the CFSC. The committee will additionally hear about the design, costs and financing.
The CFSC considers design plans, cost estimates and financing proposals for new court facilities statewide to ensure they meet Judicial Branch standards for construction.
The meeting will take place at 8 a.m. Central Standard Time at the Administrative Office of the Courts at 1001 Vandalay Drive in Frankfort, Kentucky.
The group will also receive information on projects in progress in multiple other counties, including Barren County.
