Property tax drop box location at Warren County Sheriff’s Office

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Property tax season starts tomorrow and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office is making it easier to turn in payments.

With property taxes, as always you can mail in your payment or drop it off in person, but this year, the sheriff’s office is offering a more COVID-friendly way of turning it in that doesn’t involve a stamp.

A box, similar to a mail drop off, has been placed on the College Street side of the Warren County Courthouse in front of a parking space.

The sheriff encourages taxpayers to pull into the parking spot, drop off their taxes and drive away.

He said this new drop box will allow locals to pay their taxes in an easy way without contact with others.

One thing Hightower said is important to note: the parking space in front of the drop box is a drop off spot, not for parking and it will be enforced starting Thursday.
