UPDATE: Power outage in Auburn impacts nearly 1,000 households

AUBURN, Ky. – The power outage has been restored. WRECC confirmed the cause of the outage on Monday was a bird.

AUBURN, Ky. – Crews are working to restore a large power outage in Auburn on Monday.

Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation says an outage affecting almost 1,000 households is underway.

WRECC says it is working to bring power back to these customers as soon as possible.
