Positive COVID-19 cases grow in Warren, Butler and Barren Counties

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The Barren River District Health Department announced several new, positive COVID-19 cases in south central Kentucky on Wednesday.

The counties with additional cases include Warren, Butler and Barren Counties.

As of Wednesday night, here are the total number of cases in the counties covered by the Barren River District Health Department:

Warren County: 35 (+3)
Simpson County: 14
Edmonson County: 6
Butler County: 5 (+3)
Allen County: 4
Logan County: 4
Barren County: 3 (+1)
Hart County: 1
Also on Wednesday, Gov. Andy Beshear announced an additional 204 positive cases in the state and eight new deaths. Statewide, there are 1,346 positive cases and 73 deaths.
Beshear said 339 Kentuckians have fully recovered from the virus.
