Portions of vandalism reported at Roland Bland Park

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The City of Bowling Green is working to learn more about vandalism at a local park.

On Tuesday, Deb Highland, executive assistant and public information officer with the City of Bowling Green, shared the following statement regarding the incident:

“On September 28, one of our city parks was significantly vandalized. Since that time, our Parks and Recreation crews have been working diligently to clean up the damage caused by the individual or individuals responsible.”

“The Bowling Green Police Department has been notified and is actively investigating this incident.

“Vandalism to our parks is not just damage to city property, it is a crime against every resident who uses and enjoys these shared spaces. Our parks belong to the community, and when they are harmed, it diminishes the quality of life for us all.”
