Portion of US 68X to temporarily close in Logan County

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – A Logan County roadway is set for a temporary closure.

A Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 release states that a section of US 68X Fourth Street in Russell will temporarily close beginning Monday, Feb. 23, and continuing through Wednesday, Feb. 25.

The eastbound through lane of US 68X will close at the intersection with Bethel Street.

Closures will be in effect from 7 am until 3:30 pm.

KYTC says all other lanes will be open.

According to the release, trucks should detour on KY 2146.

Crews will be repairing a damaged drainage box.
