Portion of Nashville Road reopened after material spill

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A portion of Nashville Road in Bowling Green shut down Wednesday due to a reported material spill.
According to the city, Nashville Road closed between the Elrod Road and Central Avenue intersections. As of 5:21 p.m., Nashville Road has reopened, city officials say.
The road initially closed to allow crews to remove the material spill.
Earlier this afternoon, police confirmed a dump truck had spilled rocks onto Nashville Road.
