Portion of Allen Co. Water District to be affected by water line work

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Some customers with Allen County Water District may experience changes in water pressure starting Wednesday night.

According to The City of Scottsville, some city water customers will have little to no water pressure between 10 p.m. tonight through 5 a.m. Thursday morning.

This is due to water line work, officials say.

The areas affected will include but not be limited to the following:

• Jackson Avenue
• Maysville Road
• Holland Road
• Mount Union Road
• Pleasant Field Church Road
• Dry Creek Road
• Pitchford Ridge Road
• Oak Forrest

Once work concludes, city officials say a boil water advisory will be in effect until it is lifted.
