Poll workers needed before November general election
BROWNSVILLE, Ky.- Before we know it, November’s general election will be here, and there’s currently a shortage of poll workers.
In response to this, Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams unveiled a way for Kentucky voters to register as poll workers for the upcoming election.
The number of poll workers will determine how many polling locations will be available on election day. If there aren’t enough poll workers in any given county, it will limit the clerk’s ability to offer in-person voting.
Edmonson County Clerk Kevin Alexander told WNKY he’d really like to see a high turnout of in person voting this November.
