Police looking for owner of goat roaming near Hardin County Detention Center

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. – The Elizabethtown Police Department is reaching out to the community about what they’re calling a “mischievous goat” roaming the area.

Police say the unclaimed animal is spending time on South Dixie Highway near the Hardin County Detention Center.

So far, authorities say they have tried to locate him, but he flees “into the unknown.”

If anyone knows who the goat belongs to, they are encouraged to contact the Elizabethtown Police Department at (270) 765-4125 to be sure he makes it home.
