BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department received an alarm at around 4:00 this afternoon from the US Bank off Cave Mill Road.

Police say the man produced a weapon and demanded money from bank employees.

They complied.

The man got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Officials describe the robber at a 6’1” stocky black man wearing a dark ball cap, a mask, and a brown and white flannel shirt.

Bowling Green Police Officer Ronnie Ward say these situations are difficult for employees and the bank is now closed and allowing their workers to go home.

Ward says the robber got away in a dark colored 4 door sedan and drove behind mall toward Campbell Lane.

No injuries were reported.
