Police charge Muhlenberg County couple with child sexual exploitation offenses

GREENVILLE, Ky. – Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested William D. Zguro Jr., 51, and Roseanne L. Zguro, 50, on charges related to child sexual abuse material, according to a release from KSP.

The couple was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation that was initiated after the Powderly Police Department recovered from a local retail store a lost phone containing child sexual abuse material.

The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant as a home in Greenville Tuesday. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to the state police crime lab for analysis, according to the release.

William Zguro is charged with 10 counts of possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor first offense. Roseanna Zguro is charged with one count of possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor first offense. They were both also charged with unrelated drug possession offenses and were lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
