Police capture man wanted on burglarizing woman’s home while she slept

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – After receiving a tip, Bowling Green police captured James Robert Crouch early Friday morning near the corner of 12th Avenue and Adams Street.

Crouch was wanted on two counts of burglary. He is accused of jumping a fence and entering a woman’s home through a window while she slept. Surveillance video captured that incident which led police to release the video to ask for the public’s help in finding the suspect.

Thursday, police identified that suspect as Crouch, and they obtained a warrant for his arrest. Crouch is accused of entering the same house twice, Bowling Green Police Department spokesman Officer Ronnie Ward said.

Crouch was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
