Police arrest Scottsville man after extended drug activity investigation

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Scottsville man is facing drug charges after an extended investigation.
The Allen County-Scottsville Crime Task Force says detectives investigated illegal drug activity at 601 Main Street in Scottsville.
Detectives obtained a search warrant and Scottie L. Cook, 51 of Scottsville, was apprehended.
During the search, detectives say they located suspected methamphetamine, heroin, and drug paraphernalia.
Cook is charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree – methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance 1st-degree – heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Cook is lodged at the Allen County Detention Center.
