Police arrest man after he allegedly attempted to hide meth in child’s playpen

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – According to the Scottsville Police Department, officers arrested 45-year-old David A. Rupe Sunday.

SPD officers arrested Rupe after they said he attempted to hide suspected methamphetamine and a pipe by “tossing them into a child’s playpen.”

Rupe was lodged at the Allen County Jail. He is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of methamphetamine, tampering with physical evidence and drug paraphernalia.

The investigation is ongoing.
